Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of the charts with her electro pop style after she drew the attention of people through her hit songs "Starry Eyed," along with "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. The soprano's quirk and her ability to compose catchy, but deeply honest songs place her at the forefront for contemporary mainstream music in addition to the art and indie pop scene. She ultimately signed a major-label contract with Polydor Records and began making preparations to release her debut album.
