Sharp was a student of clarinet, keyboard, and cello in the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. Her enthusiasm for school theatre led her to apply to The Boston Conservatory, where she was awarded an award. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp decided to pursue a career in theater after completing her Cum Laude degree with a B.F.A. Sharp was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatre performances include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside writer August Wilson himself. Sharp also has other projects in the works, in addition to the productions for screen and stage. The singer is also working on her first full-length album for studio work. Sharp enjoys staying fit and stays in great condition by pursuing Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp lives with her family located in Los Angeles.
